Transformational leadership is defined as the process where leaders and their followers raise one another to higher levels of morality and motivation.
A transformational leader does many things. Most notably a transformational leader creates an inspiring vision of the future, motivates people to buy into that vision, and builds ever-stronger, trust based relationships amongst the team.
The vision refers to your team’s mission statement (check out the “mission statement” article) should be your motivation strategy, appealing to your groups united values. Leaders under the transformational guidelines inspires a great deal of loyalty and trust into the people under their influence. Great teams become even greater with leaders who inspire and motivate everyone to be the best they can be.
